Hazard: These dishwashers have a connector that can short-circuit and overheat during normal use, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: A gas leak can occur if there is a crack in the gas valve body near the inlet pipe connection. A build-up of gas in the burner compartment of the unit could occur, which could be ignited by an internal spark.

Hazard: These leaf and lawn vacuums have a plastic elbow and blower exit adaptor that is connected to the top of the shredding chamber. The plastic can crack, allowing stones, large sticks, and other material to puncture the plastic. This creates the possibility that pieces of plastic or other debris can fly upward toward bystanders or the operator. When this occurs, the potential for personal injury or property damage exists. This is more prone to occur when the outside temperatures are below 35 degrees.

Hazard: The air cleaner's plastic inner housing and filter are not flame-resistant. If electrical arcing occurs in the cleaner, a fire can develop. This poses a risk of burn injuries and property damage.

Hazard: The handles on the base of the slow cookers can break, posing a risk of burns from hot food spilling onto consumers.

Hazard: The air intake shield may be missing. Consumers can suffer lacerations if they come into contact with the intake blower wheel.

Hazard: The vacuum's rotor can lock and overheat during use, causing a smoke and fire hazard.

Hazard: Fire hazard. If the pilot light goes out, the gas valve could stick in an open position, permitting gas to continue to flow. This can result in a gas explosion and fire, which could result in severe personal injury or property damage.

Hazard: Due to the location of the fuel line on the Lazer Z EFI riding mowers, a hole can develop, resulting in a fuel leak that could present a fire hazard.

Hazard: In some cases, when the vacuum cleaner is left in the "on" position, the rotor can lock up and cause the unit to overheat. This poses a smoke and fire hazard.

Hazard: Some of these products were sold with loose internal bolt connections, which could result in excessive heat or fire.

Hazard: The front hood of the RTV900 utility vehicle can come off during operation, striking the driver or passenger and causing serious personal injury.

Hazard: The recalled cooktops have switches located too close to the gas tubing leading to the grill burner. Electrical arcing can cause the tubing to leak gas and ignite, resulting in a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: These furnaces can overheat, causing heat-exchanger cracking, burn-through and, in extreme cases, furnace wrapper burn-through. This can lead to heating and possible burning of the drywall and other combustibles adjacent to the furnace, which poses a fire and smoke hazard to consumers.

Hazard: Loss of brake system pressure can decrease the effectiveness of the brakes.

Hazard: If the pilot light goes out, the gas valve can stick in an open position, permitting gas to continue to flow. This can result in a gas explosion and fire, which could result in severe personal injury or property damage.

Hazard: The hot water faucet on these units has a child-resistant safety feature to prevent young children from accessing the hot water. The device can malfunction, so that the faucet will not turn off, causing burn injuries to children.

Hazard: Choking hazard from red plastic feet that can detach from chair legs.

Hazard: All of the appliances use faulty wiring, which can overheat, melt through the insulation and cause a short circuit. They may pose a shock hazard to consumers, if the appliance is not properly grounded.

Hazard: The ranges and wall ovens have faulty wiring, which can melt and cause the oven to short circuit. The appliance can then stop working and pose a shock hazard to consumers.

Hazard: These ceiling fans were assembled without the proper wire insulation sleeving, which could result in exposed wiring. Consumers could receive an electrical shock during installation or removal.

Hazard: The heating element can drop to the bottom of the unit and melt through the plastic outer shell, posing burn and fire hazards.

Hazard: The handles on the base of the slow cookers can break, posing a risk of burns from hot contents spilling onto consumers.

Hazard: The glass bulb can separate from its base and break during use. The broken glass can present a laceration injury to consumers, the hot broken bulb can present a burn injury to consumers, and an exposed bulb filament can present a shock hazard if handled while power remains applied to the fixture.

Hazard: The TV/VCR cabinets can break when lifted by the ventilation holes in the top rear of the cabinet, permitting the TV/VCR to fall and injure hands and feet.

Hazard: The rotary dial switch on these units can be positioned between the high and low speed fan setting. This can cause the units to overheat and possibly catch fire.

Hazard: These range hoods could have the blower motor installed with a screw that might penetrate the motor housing, posing an electric shock hazard to consumers.

Hazard: Plastic parts in the pump connected to the camping stove can crack or become dislodged. When exposed to extreme temperature change, the blue plastic shrinks around the aluminum parts and has been observed to crack the outer plastic housing. The air tube on some of the pumps can become unglued and dislodged. Both of these failures can permit gas to leak.

Hazard: The handlebar could unexpectedly loosen, causing the rider to lose control of bicycle.

Hazard: The heating element can drop to the bottom of the slow cooker and melt through the plastic outer shell, posing a burn hazard to users.
