Hazard: These ranges were manufactured with a design flaw that can cause an electrical arc between the wiring and adjacent gas supply tubes at two locations in the control housing of the range, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The teapots are labeled safe for microwave use, but the handles can become hot in the microwave oven. This poses a possible burn hazard to consumers.

Hazard: LUX 3/8-inch spinlock bolts supplied with these units may not have been properly heat treated, which can result in the bolts breaking. Bolt failure during lifting for rooftop installation or after installation could cause the unit or components to fall and injure bystanders.

Hazard: If the front-load washer is operated at maximum load capacity, the spinner could malfunction and break apart, posing a safety risk to consumers.

Hazard: The defrost heater coil can become exposed inside the units, which poses a potential shock hazard to consumers. In some cases, the exposed heater wire can also melt, or burn the unit's interior plastic food liner.

Hazard: The brakes on these vehicles can fail.

Hazard: The handle on the thermos bottles can break, causing the vacuum seal to fail and release organic, non-toxic charcoal powder insulation into the air. This can cause consumers to suffer short-term vision problems and temporary breathing problems when they inhale the powder.

Hazard: Screws on some water heater valves could break. If this happens, gas could leak from the valve, which poses a risk of gas explosion and fire.

Hazard: The interlocking lid assembly on the appliance can malfunction, allowing the food processor to be operated when the lid is off. This can result in a laceration or fingertip amputation hazard, if consumers insert their hands into the food processor.

Hazard: The burner tube connection to the gas valve can leak gas when the main burner is on. This leaking gas can ignite, causing a minor flare-up, which could cause nearby combustibles to ignite.

Hazard: The handles on the base of the slow cookers can break, posing a risk of burns from hot contents spilling onto consumers. These Rival® Slow Cookers, sold from January 1999 through May 2002, were previously recalled for the same hazard. The recall has now been expanded to include all units manufactured before September 2004.

Hazard: A faulty component in the condenser fan motor can short circuit. This could cause the condenser fan motor to overheat, posing a potential fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: Some 2004.5 and 2005 Model Year Sportsman, Scrambler 500 ATVs, Trail Boss and Magnum 330 ATVs were assembled with possibly defective Electronic Control Modules (ECM), which may fail and overheat. If this were to occur, excessive heat could cause a fire, possibly resulting in serious injury or death.

Hazard: Movement or misplacement of the stove's burner can allow propane gas to settle in the heater, resulting in delayed ignition. The delayed ignition could shatter the door glass and pose a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The lid on these pressure cookers can open prematurely while contents are under pressure, allowing hot contents to be expelled and causing a scald or burn injury to individuals in the immediate area.

Hazard: An internal short can cause the battery cells to overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: A manufacturing defect in the can's seam and an insufficiently applied fuel cap can cause the can to leak fuel, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: Some 2004.5 and 2005 Model Year Sportsman and 2005 Model Year Scrambler 500 ATVs were assembled with possibly defective Electronic Control Modules (ECM), which may fail and overheat. If this were to occur, excessive heat could cause a fire, possibly resulting in serious injury or death.

Hazard: The steering rods can separate, causing the driver to lose steering control. This could cause the ATV to crash and pose a risk of serious injury or death.

Hazard: The recalled vacuums have defective on-off switches that can overheat the handle and toolholder areas of the vacuum, resulting in a fire hazard.

Hazard: An interruption of power to the toaster can cause the heating elements to unexpectedly self-start and could ignite any flammable items left on top of the unit, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The blades can weaken or break during use, while making frozen beverages. A broken blade presents a risk of injury, if taken into the mouth or swallowed.

Hazard: An electrical defect within the dishwashers' wash motor wiring poses a risk of the motor overheating and possibly catching fire.
