Hazard
A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and reinforce the brake pedal arm, as necessary, free of charge. If the brake pedal assembly is not installed on a vehicle, the assembly will be repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Owners may contact FCA Customer Service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is D5C. This recall is an expansion of previous NHTSA recall number 24E095.

Description

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain MOPAR Brake Pedal Assemblies with part numbers 68607178AA, 68607174AA, and 68607352AA. The brake pedal may collapse and cause a loss of brake function.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and reinforce the brake pedal arm, as necessary, free of charge. If the brake pedal assembly is not installed on a vehicle, the assembly will be repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Owners may contact FCA Customer Service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is D5C. This recall is an expansion of previous NHTSA recall number 24E095.
