Hazard: The return spring on the circular saw's lower blade guard can break, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The air compressor's components can fail, which could cause a stoppage of air flow. This poses a risk of drowning to users.

Hazard: The chain brake can fail to stop the chain on its first application, posing a risk of laceration to consumers.

Hazard: The generator's fuel valve can be damaged by the cover plate during shipment and cause a fuel leak and fuel spillage during use, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The fuel cells used to power cordless framing nailers can leak fuel, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The pivot bracket on the saw can separate, which can misalign the blade and the fence and cause kick back. This poses a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The motor on the pressure washer can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The compressor's motor can overheat and ignite the protective cover, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Also, the cover might not prevent internal components from being touched, which poses an electrical shock hazard.

Hazard: The extension or "fly" section can fail to lock, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Hazard: Protective covers on the compressor's motor are not made from proper flame-retardant material and can ignite, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The trigger switch of the cordless drill can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The saw handle's switch can fail, causing the saw to smoke, spark, and trip circuit breakers, and disable the safety brake. The saw also can keep operating unless the unit is unplugged, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The ladder stands can become unstable while in use, causing the user to fall. The addition of one ladder section to the stand makes the platform further away from the bracing. When the stand is at its full height, the distance between the bracing and the platform may result in platform instability prior to attachment to and/or detachment from the tree.

Hazard: The trigger switch on the circular saw can be locked on or the switch can be turned on without the use of the safety lock-out. This can cause unexpected operation of the saw, posing a risk of laceration.

Hazard: The "Craftsman" logo label located on the upper blade guard can become partially detached and interfere with the proper operation of the lower blade guard, exposing the saw's blade and posing a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) installed on the generator could fail to operate properly, posing a risk of electric shock to consumers.

Hazard: The switch on these saws can short circuit, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The pressure washers and air compressors have pneumatic tires with plastic hubs that can burst, posing a laceration or fracture hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The chain saw's plastic front handle can break during operation. If this occurs, the saw would be difficult to control and poses a risk for lacerations.

Hazard: The lower blade guard can fail to close, leaving the blade exposed and presenting a laceration hazard to consumers.

Hazard: A problem in the manufacturing process could cause damage to the circuit in the interlock module. If the interlock module fails, the mower blades will be able to run with no operator on the tractor seat. Consumers could suffer injuries from contact with operating blades.

Hazard: The plastic fuel tanks can leak. If an ignition source is present, a fire or explosion can occur.

Hazard: The nailer can eject a nail while the switch is in the "off" position, if the trigger is pulled and it is placed on a surface. This can pose a serious injury to consumers or bystanders.

Hazard: If the knob securing the extension unit to the ladder is not tight, it can detach and fall when the ladder is being removed or lowered. The unit could hit a bystander, causing serious head injuries.

Hazard: An undersized power cord can overheat and pose a fire hazard. In addition, improper assembly of the power cord strain relief component and improper routing of internal conductors can cause a shock hazard to consumers.

Hazard: The fuel tanks can crack and leak fuel, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries.

Hazard: These chain saws can leak fuel, posing a fire hazard. A connection in the ignition grounding system could loosen and create a spark, posing a fire hazard. Also the springs in the clutch assembly could come out of position, allowing a spring of the clutch to be projected from the saw housing, resulting in injury to the user.

Hazard: The lower guard on these saws could stick in the open position, posing a risk of severe lacerations to consumers.

Hazard: Rungs on the ladders could break near the side rail, causing the user to fall.

Hazard: The guards on some of these angle grinders will not fully cover a hubbed grinding wheel. As a result, if the hubbed grinding wheel comes apart during use, it could hit the user, possibly causing serious personal injury.
