Hazard: If the caliper bolts are improperly torqued and the caliper detaches from the mounting flange, a loss of braking ability would occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: A reduction of service brake pressure can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: If there is a delay of the spring brake application, the trailer may roll away after it has decoupled from the tractor, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
