Hazard: These vehicles are equipped with certain air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules, and used as original equipment or replacement equipment. These inflators may rupture due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling. An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

Hazard: If the third row seatback becomes loose, it may separate from the seat frame, increasing the risk of injury.

Hazard: A loss of power steering assist may require extra steering effort, especially at lower speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: Drivers thinking that their vehicle's transmission is in the PARK position may be struck by the vehicle and injured if they attempt to get out of the vehicle while the engine is running and the parking brake is not engaged.

Hazard: Without a backup layer of software, the control module may fail to prevent an un-commanded torque event, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hazard: A loose or missing SABIC rear mounting bolt may alter the air bag inflated curtain's deployment, increasing the risk of occupant injury in the event of a side impact or roll-over crash.

Hazard: If the driver or passenger door opens unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion, there is an increased risk of a crash and injury.

Hazard: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components increases the risk of a vehicle fire.
